Research Summary

Currently, I am working with Pratik Mehta studying segmentation in the grasshopper species, Schistocerca americana. More specifically, I am examining the expression pattern of the segmentation gene, Sa-delta, in grasshopper embryos via in situ hybridization, and attempting to functionally characterize Sa-delta via parental RNAi.
