Research Summary
I am currently learning to work with the amphipod crustacean, Parhyale hawaiensis. I am working on collecting pairs, collecting and staging embryos, and performing micro-injection prior to beginning a research project on the evolution of segmentation. In the future, I hope to analyze gene function in Parhyale by using RNAi and characterizing knockdown phenotypes.
